Art Proposal

I decided to do an art proposal on the staircase building in Meadville.
This location is a bit tricky, one the space to work in is very narrow, second the wall may be bricked (glossy) which may be hard to paint on.
To see how the design would look like in the building I decided to create a model, so the viewers could have a better idea of what the result may look like.

I first made measurements to create a big scale model from the picture shown on the right. The windows were hard to measure and hard to cut accurately.  I had trouble getting the windows to look neatly cut, but it's very unclean and different.  You cannot see the imperfections of the windows in this picture.

I made the rest of the other sides to create a 3-dimensional model. I based this model on what I saw from the picture on the right.  I did not have any other pictures showing what the sides look like or what the insides look like.

The next step was to make the steps and because I did not have enough time to make the railings detail for detail I went ahead and made an outline of the stairs, which is shown below.  The last step was to see how to present my model and designs to the class.  I did not want the class to see this model up close due to the small and incorrect details.  Therefore, I decided to pin my model up on the wall, which is probably not the right way of presenting a model.

This is the final result of the model.  The designs are pinned next to it and the actual picture is on the left side for the viewers to reference.
